At Visualife, we designed a phygital experience based on gamification and Augmented Reality, turning each shopping center visit into an interactive treasure hunt.

The solution
We created SuperThursday AR, an interactive augmented-reality treasure hunt inspired by the campaign’s main character: Mr Deal.
During the activation, visitors had to explore the shopping centre in search of hidden Mr Deal characters placed across different participating stores.
How did the experience work?

Discover the participating stores
Each shopping centre had six participating stores where the Mr Deal characters were hidden.

Find Mr Deal
Users accessed the experience from their smartphone and searched for the activations inside the stores.

Augmented reality experience
When they found Mr Deal, an AR animation was triggered, bringing the character to life within the physical space.

Capture the coin
After the animation, a virtual coin appeared that the user had to capture as part of the game.

Complete the treasure hunt
Once all six Mr Deal characters had been collected, the user completed the challenge and unlocked their reward.

Final reward
Players received points for the Style Club loyalty programme, encouraging both participation and repeat visits.
