IKONO Easter Egg Hunt

Turning Visits into Mobile Adventures

When IKONO, Europe’s fast‑growing chain of immersive art playgrounds, wanted to add a digital twist to their on‑site experience, they turned to Visualife AR.

 

Our brief: build a multilingual, city‑wide mobile game that inspires visitors to explore, play and—most importantly—come back for more.

In just 14 days, we delivered a fully branded AR “Easter Egg Hunt” that captured 3,500+ players across six cities and six languages, all while feeding real‑time user data straight to IKONO’s marketing team.

The Challenge
  • Create a fun, self‑guided activity that blends seamlessly with IKONO’s physical spaces in Barcelona, Madrid, Copenhagen, Bucharest, Berlin, Vienna and Rome.
     

  • Launch in English, German, Danish, Hungarian, Italian, Catalan & Spanish—with zero UX compromises.
     

  • Collect verified visitor profiles (email + opt‑in) without slowing down the flow of the venue.
     

  • Provide staff with live dashboards to monitor sign‑ups, completion rates, language splits and location data.
     

  • Deliver the entire solution before the Easter holidays—two weeks from brief to first player.

    • Players hunt for hidden Easter eggs throughout each room.

    • Scanning a tiny QR tag triggers a 3D animation—think like flying eggs of different shapes, sizes and effects.

    • Each find is auto‑saved in a personal “Egg Basket” inside the app.

  3. Real‑Time Admin Dashboard

    • Live counters for new sign‑ups, eggs found, and full‑game completions.

    • Heat‑map by city + language to spot high‑performing locations at a glance.

    • Export effortlessly to CSV CRM import.

  4. Reward Mechanics

    • Complete the game when all eggs are found and win a prize.

  5. Modular for Future Events

    • Swap “Easter eggs” for ghosts at Halloween or presents at Christmas—zero extra dev time required
